Is this just another 3D file-sharing service?
No. BANANA-GOAT is built for showing models in the browser, not handing over files. You upload; your audience views. The workflow is designed so the source doesn't travel with the link.
Can someone download my original CAD from the viewer?
No. The browser receives a processed viewing artifact, not the file you uploaded. Original source extraction isn't possible through this flow.
How is this different from a standard 3D viewer?
Standard viewers expose your model to the browser: geometry that can be downloaded or scraped. BANANA-GOAT replaces that with a secure runtime representation built for viewing, not reuse.
When is my upload deleted?
Seconds after processing. What stays in your library is the processed output. A large source upload doesn't remain stored or billed as source size.
Can the runtime file still be captured?
A determined user might grab the processed artifact. That's not your original CAD. It's snapshot-oriented data. Turning it into something production-ready is commercially impractical compared to getting the real file from a standard viewer.
Do viewers need an account?
No. Only people uploading and managing models need one. Anyone with a share link or embed can view for free.
Does this replace our internal CAD tools?
It's aimed at teams who need to show 3D beyond traditional file handoff: client review, demos, embeds, platforms. It can also reduce exposure where internal tools still pass real geometry around.
When is a standard viewer enough?
If downloadable source-grade 3D on the web is fine for your workflow, or flat images are all you need, you probably don't need us. BANANA-GOAT is for when showing the model matters and giving it away doesn't.
