Upload Models

How you get a 3D file into BANANA-GOAT. You need an account, you pick a supported format, and you can add textures when the format supports them.

You need an account

Uploading requires an account so the model lands in your library and stays under your control.

Supported formats

You can upload:

  • .step
  • .stp
  • .stl
  • .glb
  • .gltf
  • .fbx
  • .obj

Textures and materials

For .glb, .gltf, .fbx, and .obj, add texture files if you have them. The site will prompt you with a browse popup so you can upload those files.

You can also skip textures. The model still processes — you just get a grey model without materials.

Size limits

Yes — upload size depends on your plan tier. Enterprise can use a custom limit. See Limits in Reference, or /pricing, for the self-serve caps.

Uploading more than one model

You can upload multiple models. They still go through a queue, so processing happens one after another rather than all at once.

Rename and delete

You can rename a model after uploading.

If you uploaded the wrong file, you can delete it — including while it is still processing.

What next

When the model is ready, share it or embed it. That is covered under Sharing and Embedding.
